Douglas helped serve holiday meals to hundreds of LBGT seniors in partnership with Openhouse. Bridgemen dished out food, shared friendship with our elders, and built stronger bridges between generations in our community.
Dennis helped to collect and deliver toys to children and teenagers living with HIV/AIDS who are hospitalized at UCSF. Toys gathered by Bridgemen also went to the siblings of the kids, making the holidays much brighter for families in need of some joy.
Mike helped to restore a critical salmon habitat at Muir Beach. He and other Bridgemen brought in hundreds of indigenous plants to help endangered Coho salmon follow their natural patterns from the creek into the ocean. When Mother Nature needs a little help, she can count on Bridgemen.
Obay helped to build a 36-unit condominium building for low-income families in Daly City through Habitat for Humanity. By reaching out to communities in need, Bridgemen tear down walls between gay and straight, young and old, rich and poor. We are making San Francisco a better place to live for everyone.
